Chairman's Welcome

For the 2025/26 season, Hereford Lads Club will be fielding 26 teams across junior boys, girls, disability, and adult football—reflecting our continued growth as a club.

Established in 1925, we are incredibly proud of our heritage of inclusion. We recently celebrated our centenary year, marking the occasion with a rebrand and a new badge that incorporates elements of our historic identity.

I have been involved in junior football as a coach for around seven years across two clubs. What inspired me to take on a greater role at Lads Club is the incredible work we do within the community—not just in football. The club has made significant progress in recent years, and I’ve taken over from my predecessor Mike and other dedicated volunteers who have built strong foundations for future success.

We are supported by a devoted committee who dedicate their time to ensuring the club is well run and welcoming for all—players, coaches, parents, and visiting teams alike. We are proud to offer a great environment, including food, refreshments, and even our much-loved new coffee machine. As the club continues to grow, so too will opportunities for others to get involved.

As one of the area’s leading providers of junior football for boys and girls, we are proud to deliver opportunities for all, including our disability team, and remain committed to developing a clear and inclusive pathway into adult football.

We are also delighted to continue offering free development sessions for 4–7 year olds, ensuring children from all backgrounds have the opportunity to play football—staying true to the values on which our club was founded.

As an FA Chartered Club, we provide a clear footballing pathway for all. Whether you are a player, an experienced coach, or someone looking to start coaching, you will always receive a warm welcome at Hereford Lads Club.

Thank you for your continued support.
